If you're reading, thanks so much for having your mom drop off the books.

Call me! I (and I'm sure Wayne and probably Martin though I never talk to him) would love to hear from you.

Ah, Pink Floyd, c'est fun.

Jaida said something the other day - a quote? - in relation to ROTK that I liked very much.

When you have to remember something as it once was, you can never go back to it.

When you can no longer remember what that something has been, you can never go back at all.

My primary New Year's resolution involves planting both feet firmly in the future: i.e., studying like mad for Calc!

So [info]neritai and I went trick-or-treating with [info]ohpossum and family! Tons of fun.

After school, I had a wee bit of cake-and-non-Starbucks-coffee at Starbucks with [info]neritai and [info]sharedmoment. Then we went over to a little farmer's market on 434 which had verrry tasty asian pears and nebulous "het fruit." By chance, this was located nearby a Sally Beauty Supply, which of course we had to avail ourselves of to satisfy our Hallowe'en makeup needs. Well, [info]neritai had to - I had my makeup, and [info]sharedmoment just wanted five zillion shades of neon nailpolish.

Thereafter [info]neritai and I got in costume - I ended up being a kitty-eared dominatrix, and Jason my shiny-caped slave. (Because, you know, these are the sort of costumes we have the ingredients for on hand.) Much fun! So we set out to [info]ohpossum's, where upon our arrival we were supplied with a very delicious dinner (chicken stew) and even more fabulous desert (pumpkin cheesecakes... mmm...). My cousin Aidan had the most adorable mummy costume! [info]ohpossum, Uncle Kevin, Aidan, [info]neritai, and I set out trick-or-treating after dinner. It was great - we'd go up to houses and [info]neritai would kneel and present the trick-or-treat bucket. The neighbors were alternately bemused or a tad scared. I was entertained. ;)

I got home a bit later than planned and as I had forgotten to call my mom I am grounded today, but as it is only today I really don't care. Yay!

Hallowe'en pics! First of many, as Jason has some on his digital camera. )

I love my mommy.

She's getting up with me tomorrow so she can help me lace my corset. (It's Fantasy/Superhero day tomorrow in Spirit Week and I'm being a witch. Lest you think I have any spirit whatsoever, let me reassure you, it's all about the costumes!)

My mommy rocks. Yes. :)

I just talk myself about a week's worth of Physics in one hour. This is either YAY or WAH WTF? depending on how you look at it. I suspect this is pretty much going to be how it is for the rest of the year. I think I'm going to go with the "yay, pulleys with neglible friction!" route, though, knowing me.

Having [info]neritai help me with Calc is a good thing, also. :)

Now off to get togafied. Today is Decade Day for Spirit Week. Hey, someone's got to be representing 10-0 BC!

I haven't been posting much lately - mainly because I haven't really felt comfortable posting at a public level; I might make my journal friends only. Would this bother anyone?

May continue not to be posting very much, at least publicly, between [info]neritai, school, and RPing in [info]lightningwar (in the very near future).

I am very happy. Very, very happy. :) And productive!
